Author Ann Bowes set up Fryup Press in 2003 when she self published her first book - Riding for Life. Followed most recently by Ann's first novel - Friends Forever.

Fryup Press publishes the monthly news magazine Valley News which is distributed in the upper Esk Valley. Valley News was recently awarded "Best Newsletter/Magazine of 2007".
